Junior School

Our Junior School

Our curriculum is wide, covering a full range of subjects. A language is included in the curriculum for all children from the age of five years, as is Information and Communication Technology. Pupils are taught in the Science Laboratory by a science specialist from the age of nine years. Full use of our specialist teachers' skills is made in the Junior School in all subject areas. This enables us to provide a stimulating and challenging environment throughout the school.

By introducing the children to different teachers for certain subjects gradually in the early years and increasing this specialist teaching, we enable the children to enjoy the security of a form base and teacher, whilst benefiting from specialist expertise before they enter Senior School. This, we find, also eases the transition into the Senior School, as they are already familiar with the system.
